How to Write a Administration Resume?


Administration resumes are written for mid-level jobs by such professionals who are good at managing organizational machinery and ensuring a smooth running of business. There are various kinds of administrative jobs like Computer Administrator/ Network Administrator, Business Administrator, College Administration officer, School Administration Officer, etc.
Administrative jobs are all about managing resources and people in the most optimum way as possible for producing desired results. The job involves various stages of planning, strategical, implementing, evaluating and controlling. They see to the proper working of the company by keeping the lower grade employees in loop and prepare performance reports for the higher management.
An administrator resume should follow either a chronological resume format or a combination resume format. There are a few tips for writing such a resume.
  • Mention your full name in the beginning along with your correct phone number and email ID
  • These are specific job posts and so, while applying to a job in HR department, give importance to the relevant experience under the work experience heading. In case, you have experience from working in other departments too, you can add it all in a way that justifies the context and establishes you as an ideal candidate

An administrator is expected to have knowledge about the technicalities of a process. At least a basic understanding about how a process works is beneficial for his profile. They are also expected to have good knowledge of company laws, state laws and federal laws.
