Business Resume

The maim aim of the resume is to land up for an interview call. One the call is given for the interview, your performance in front of the recruiters is considered. Then the resume becomes a part of the waste paper basket. So, our main goal must be to avoid that basket. For this, our resume must stand out from those prepared by others. Here are some tips to make the resume outstanding. They are:

  • Write the job objective at the starting having the link with the career goal.
  • The experience must not be overwritten. It must be short and precise. It must be in chronological order.
  • While writing the experience, company overview must be avoided. What is of prime importance is what you have learned there.
  • The qualifications must be up to date and accurate.
  • The writing of the irrelevant information must be avoided.
  • The use of articles and pronouns must be minimum.
  • Achievements must be written which is a bonus point for you.
  • The resume must be strictly in the past tense.
  • It must exclude all the grammatical, spelling and punctuation mistakes.
  • Instead using the long sentences, fragments of the sentences must be made.
  • Use of action verbs or keywords is any time good.
  • The references must be accurate.
  • The resume can be of 1-3 pages.
In short the resume must enlist or conclude all the professional and the managerial qualities in you in a short and precise manner.
