Executive Resume

While writing the resume the main question that arises in mind is that how long my resume must be? What all it must contain. What must be the format?

The answer to this question is the length of resume hardly matters. What matters is the content written in it. It must contain all the required information for the recruiter. The format must be simple and readable.

Some points to note while writing the executive resume are:

  • The resume must be readable. It means the content must be distinguished. Use proper font style, font size, whitespaces, paragraphs, bullets wherever required. The recruiter must feel easy to read it. The information must be written in the orderly manner for ease of reading.
  • While writing, keep in mind that the content is not too long. Don’t overwrite it. Use active action words that catch the attention of the recruiter. Use professional language. It adds emphasis to your resume. The content must be precise. As you know, too many cooks spoil the broil, so it’s better to be accurate and precise while writing.
  • Don’t worry about the length while writing but be complete. There are no such obligations that the resume must in 2 pages only. If your resume is good enough anyone can take efforts to through it. In short, Write complete information required.
  • Include all the vital information like the special training records and accomplishments. They play crucial role in your resume.
  • The formatting of the resume must catch attention of the recruiter. It must be shabby. Better keep link with the information you write. Just don’t keep on writing.
  • Exclude all the mistakes and errors from the resume. So check it twice or thrice.
The executive job requires active personality job seekers. So the resume must show mirror image of your skills and talent.
